Everyone has different goals for ownership. I'm 4 years into a plan that should run 9 to 10 years, as long as it doesn't get totaled somehow. At the end, I'll just sell it as is, and the new owner will be getting one hell of a low-mileage car, with excellent maintenance and quality mods, in a rare 6MT.

And I won't be asking stupid money, either. Somebody lucky will be on the other end of a pay-it-forward moment.

Hey OP, I know this thread is old, but how did everything work out? I went through a similar deal last weekend. I told the guy to use pipe with 1.75" ID because it would slip fit over the 1.75" OD resonator outlet, then upside the pipe with a reducer to 2.25" to fit the tips I bought. He just used 2.25" the whole way, and now it drones like a motherf***er ...

Mine came out great and sounds amazing. I don’t care what anyone says about muffler delete. No drone at all, has a nice deep sound, and cheap!

Let me know when you’re ready to move on. I’d take your car in a heartbeat.

That's cool. But I'm still 3-4 years out from that moment, and a few mods left still on my list. Also, my mechanic wants the car when I'm ready. I don't blame him, since he's done most of the work. Just tipped over 40k miles last week.

However, thanks for the comment, GdaddyNY. Nice to know.

Thanks very much for the response! I should have done the same ... now the question is do I spend more money to do it right or just buy a catback? Lol
