I like the contrast of aluminum with the black interior but I get why some would want to modify it.
Other than the aluminum, there's no contrast with the black interior. It's black on black on black like a pit. Other black interiors have some contrasting areas.
I went with Ivory on my Q40 because black gets so hot. My wife liked the light interior too. I often second guess myself when I see the black interior because it does look good but oh well. The light also looks more feminine or like a grandparents color.
Although the light interior has more contrasting area, the aluminum with the light interior just doesn't pop and kind of just blends in.
Any trim wrap suggestions, thread, pics, with the light interior?
What vinyl have people used with the light gray interior? Looking at wrapping my interior with Black Brushed Metallic but want to see what others have done.

IMO that black brushed metallic would really look nice, any of the lighter metallics would probably create too much of a sea of gray.
Could go w/ another dark shade like a brown but

Here's some pictures of mine but it's not a gray interior
Here's mine. I didn't know how to take the parts out so one of the local members in the forum did it for me.
Hey just wondering how you were able to remove those panels?? Especially the lower one where the shifter is! I've tried taking it out but it seems like it's attached to something towards the from and I can't figure it out. Let me know, thanks!
as i mentioned earlier that i re-vinyled the interior wood grain. took a quick shot of it. it pretty black looking with hint of wood grain. i think i slightly prefer the lighter gray tho, but still good looking i think. Good thing with vinyl, you can always remove and redo!
