How to remove the door trims?

Hi guys. I need some helps here. I recently got T-boned which put a minor dent in the driver side door. I noticed the chrome trim shown in red circle in the picture is slightly bent at the end when I had the car back from the body shop. No sure what exactly that piece should be called. I don't want the body shop monkeys to touch my car again if that's something can be corrected by myself easily. I couldn't find info online to remove and reinstall the trim. Can someone please share how if you know the procedure? Any help is appreciated!

Wow, no one knows it? So how do you do plasti-dip without removing the trim first? Thanks!

Don't plasti-dip, use vinyl to wrap the trim, it's easy and will match your center pillars perfectly (they're a vinyl sticker applied at the factory).
BTW, I was t-boned too, and those trim pieces are very hard to remove & replace as good as new, they don't really cooperate Not sure about the best way to remove & replace.
Here's a DIY for the vinyl wrap~

So vinyl wrap the trims without actually taking them off, cool.

It seems I may have to take the car in to let those moneys correct it. I polish and details my car meticulously. When I have the car back, it got swirl marks and light scratches everywhere including places were not part of the repair.

Did you get any wave in the door panels after repair? The insurance company and the body shop told me it was normal if the wave was only discernible from an angle, it met the "industry standard". I call it BS. I don't care what industry standard they are talking about, I told them that's not my standard. The car should be restored to pre-accident condition which was better than factory new. I don't know how will this fight turn out, but I have to try.

The trim is sticking out a bit at the end, it quite an eye sore. Hope those who actually did remove and replace will chime in soon. I can't even find any info in the FSM.
