I'm assuming it will take the audio from an HDMI smartphone, right? For us with no-nav/no aux-in to be able to play music from an Android device would be a definite value-add, especially if I can play pandora on the phone and have Waze up on the big nav screen. I think it's kind of ridiculous that any luxury vehicle on 2012 can't do that natively, but here we are. This looks like a great solution.

 

Hi, audio will come form hdmi to navtool interface, but from navtool you will stll need to connect it to AUX input of the , in case you don't have factory AUX, you need something like this Nissan Infiniti 02-11 Auxiliary Input Adapter Kit - SAT Emulation

I'm interested. Will you be making an installation video for G's? Are there any authorized installers in the NJ/NYC area?

 

I'm curious about the smart phone mirroring. I'm assuming it's a one-way link, where the touch screen can't be used to make selections on the phone, like Mirrorlink claims to do (it works poorly at best, though)? Also, do you need to keep your phone screen on to keep the link alive, or can you have the screen off?
