I just blacked out the cans. HUGE improvement!
2000 miles on it.
I am still very impressed with this exhaust for the price. The tone has gotten a little deeper as the mufflers get more use.
Still very quiet at idle and at the lower end of the revs then gets howling on top.

Do you have stock cats still?

So far so good. No issues. It's taken a few hits from speed bumps and driveways and still holding up well.
It sounds to me like it may have smoothed out sound wise as it has broken in. Or maybe I've just gotten used to it.
It's definitely a higher tone than some others but not a bad sound at all.
I still say if you're looking for a full cat back and trying to save a few pennies then you really can't go wrong with this exhaust. I'm still amazed at the fitment for a "cheap" exhaust.
Again, the only "issues" I have with this exhaust is the way the cans are slanted and the fact that you have to remove the cross brace for the resonators to fit.
The slanted cans are an easy fix as shown above. I haven't thought about the race yet and I probably won't do anything about it.
