Installing oem splash guards

my sedan did not come with the oem splash guards that a lot of yours did...I'm going to be ordering them from infiniti, just wondering how hard the install is and what all it entails? is there any drilling etc?

Yes, to the drilling. But a very easy install IMO (and I'm no pro...).

Here are the instructions:

http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/TSB...spx?tsbType=AI

Just put in your information, and 'exterior'. Use 'splash' as your search term.

Was it only the base model that did not come with the splash guards?

That bit about you and the 335 was awesome! Makes me want to take my baby to the track haha.

And I keep hearing so many positive things about the sways, I'll probably tack that onto the end of my (neverending) mod list

I have an X. Not sure if that is considered a base model or not, but it didn't come with S/Gs.
Odd, when you think about it. Wouldn't an AWD sedan like this be more likely a vehicle to experience adverse road conditions?

very simple DIY with basic tools. cutting out the templates is most time consuming. you're looking at a 90 minute job start to finish for a novice.

Honestly!!! The template cutting was like 40 minutes. I would've done a lot better just fitting the S/Gs on the the car, marking the holes, drilling, and then final installation.

the splash guards are an OEM accessory so if a car has it, it was a dealer or an after sale add-on. this applies across the model line i believe.
