Keep rolling with it if you want. You can usually tell when a battery is close to giving up the ghost. If your starts begin to sound "slower" or "bogged down" your batt is living on borrowed time. Mine went pretty fast from when that started happening. 2010 sedan and mine crapped out at about 38-39 months.
Replaced with an Interstate battery and no issues since. If I had a manual trans, I'd roll the dice and replace whenever it failed. However, if you've got an automatic, I'd replace it and have peace of mind. You never know when or where it will let go, and as Murphy's law dictates, it will always happen at the most inopportune and inconvenient time.

I have a 2011 G37 Sedan - although I only bought it a year ago and it came CPO with a warranty to 100k - think I should just replace it or assume it's been replaced since they did the Certified Pre-owned stuff..
I also carry this in my trunk so I am not worried about getting stranded.

Wow. That's fantastic. Definitely a rarity. Would you post a photo of the date code sticker for posterity? It should be a round sticker, maybe about the size of a dime, with a letter and number on it.

Why not? You replace your milk because of the date. And milk has never left me stranded at the lake.

Leasing will typically keep you free and clear from the battery gremlins. Lease on in your wonderful, walled garden.

Got 8 years out of a motorcycle battery. The replacements barely lasted 3 years. The G battery is going on 4 years now. I have noticed it doesn't crank as quickly as it used to, but still starts. I think sometime before winter hits I'll replace the battery. Cheap insurance against doing a battery replacement in freezing temps in the middle of winter.
