Which tint type?
One of the first things I need to do with our G is tint. My wife's SUV, 2011 Lexus GX460, has the nicest factory tint in the rear windows. It's color is charcoal when looking out and has a bit of reflectivity (mirror) when looking in, I'd say it's probably 20%. Since we both have skin conditions our doctor gave us a prescription for a darker tint but we would like to match what's on her Lexus. Anyone know a supplier (3M, SunGard) that sells something I've described?

3M Crystalline 30-40% is the way to go. I've used nothing else on all my vehicles. Keeps the temps down by at least 20 degrees in the summer time and also protects against 99% UV as well. It is worth every penny. Just make sure you go on 3M's website and find an authorized installer. They won't provide a warranty on the product if you do not use an authorized dealer & installer.
Make sure you check with your local authorities in regards to what the window tint restrictions and regulations are.

Ceramic all the way. Allows more Visible light transmission for the same rating as other (dyed or metallic) tints (See better at night).
ALL tints reduce UV by 99% or more. If it doesn't, it isn't window tint, its candy wrapping.
I had llumar 35% put on mine. It is what is reco'd by my shop for Florida (FL Law 28% max) . Great Heat resistance. Lifetime warranty.

BTW I strongly doubt that is 20% on the Lexus.

I have 18% on the back window and 28% down the sides. The darker shade in the back makes it appear darker in the car especially if you have dark interior. Plus, in you live in a place where the cops are crazy about tint shade, remember they can't test the rear window.
