Armrest Trim Removal

Hi,

Does anyone has any advice on removing the trim on front side of armrest?

Advice, solvent, etc. ?? Or do I have to manually peel??

Darn thing cut my finger the other day

Contemplating options for that piece as well, as I recently got a nice better than paper cut...hurts , as the cut is so fine. Anyway, I think once you pull, it just will pull away, but I didn't want to do that until I had a solution, so just careful now when reaching there, but will remove at some point , solution or not.

yup, bet you had blood running on your fingers.. & now you proceed w/ caution when going into your armrest box

damn straight! that cut hurt for some days after. anyway, i thought to glue it back down, but that looks messy and not sure if it will hold, so most likely will just remove it this weekend, just some tweezers and little time , as i don't have think it will make that much of a difference if its just black plastic...

That's replaceable under warranty of it still applies to you. I got mine replaced about 6 weeks ago.
Good old Infiniti. They don't offer just the trim piece, so the whole door must be replaced.
As long as it's on their dime...

yep barely in my range of warranty, so will be taking this bad boy and see what comes out of that- thanks for the info.

yep correct...if under warranty they will replace it.....if not under warranty then yes that chrome layer will peel off.
