Car Won't start but power to accessories
Hi All,
My 2009 G37S will not start.
I get power. The ACC will turn on and so does the ON button. The lights, radio, seat etc seem to work.
But if I press to start everything shuts down and turns off.
Battery is a second battery installed July 2013 from Infinity dealership.
I tried jumping to no avail.
I currently have a DieHard charger charging the battery, but i am not optimistic as I tried to start it with the same results.
It currently shows 95% charged.
I have a brand new battery in the key fab too.
I am able to apply the parking brake and and get shift release to go into neutral, and the wheel turns slightly so I can get the $105 tow to infinity tomorrow morning if I have to.
Any ideas?

If all is as you say, it would certainly seem there's something amiss elsewhere in the electrical system. I would measure the battery voltage with it installed in the car: before, during, and after attempting to start it.

Blown fuse? Not sure where to even check for that

^^ I specifically meant actual voltage, not charge percentage. If there is a short or some other excessive current draw happening, versus an open circuit/ blow fuse, you should be able to see/impute it in voltage fluctuations.

Well. I just got it to start with the die hard attached. This time I pressed realllllllllly hard down on the brake while starting....after about 15 seconds it started. I let it idle for about a minute and tried restarting with the die hard and it started up again. I am hoping that is good enough to get it to the dealer in the morning. I would assume this means IT IS the battery.

^I found the problem. #1 plug was fouled, #5 plug had a long crack in the porcelain. Once I changed out the plugs, the car fired on the first try. The plugs were factory installed, car now has 80K. I believe that the #5 plug was not torqued properly, but I can't say for sure. It didn't take as much effort to remove as the other plugs. I purchased plugs for the car a year ago, but didn't install them because someone posted up pictures of their plugs at 110K and they looked like that they were good for another 50K. Fortunately, the fix was easy. Thanks to the many DIY;s on this site.

I have that problem now, I'm getting power to the ACC light, and the radio works. But the engine just won't turn. Should I just try to jump start it? and what is the solution for the this problem ?
