Wiper blade recommendations?

Need some new wiper blades...any recommendations and places to buy?

Also, what is the process involved for taking off the old and installing the new ones?

Thanks
Michael

Bosch Icon. Look at how the blade is connected to the arm. Press a clip to release the blade and pull it out of the hook at the end of the arm. Slide the new one in until it clicks.

You like those better than oem? I'm sure they're half the cost, but aside from price...

After trying different brands I finally went back to OEM. The OEM ones are the best IMO!

I've never purchased OEM and since my car hasn't had the OEM ones for almost 7 years I don't remember what they're like.

I got RainX Latitudes (pretty pricey) but they're by far the best blades I've ever used on any car.

I use Bosch Icon. Unfortunately I find that they are only good for 6 months before smudging and smearing starts happening...

I bought Goodyear branded wiper blades at Costco for $4.99 each.

I've bought expensive blades in the past, but they all deteriorate over time. I would just as soon replace them every year.

Ditto. Not only do they do a great job of clearing the windshield, but I feel like they last much longer than cheaper alternatives.

I live in Florida and I have had the same set of rain x latitudes on my car for two years. I keep waiting for them to wear out, but they keep on going with no streaking.

My OEM original blades still work like new. I'm at 30 months and 55k miles now on my 2012 G37S

I used OEM rubber blade replacements on my previous 06 G35 but I'm not sure if just the rubber blade inserts can still be replaced or if the entire wiper blades have to be replaced?

Agreed. The runner up would be the Rain-X Latitudes.

i've been a long time Icon supporter. the performance and durability has been great on every vehicle i've used them on. to try something different, i recently ordered the OEM blade refill inserts and threw them on. i am very impressed so far (6 months). obviously the set of Icons i had on before was worn after 3 years of use, but i don't drive much and my car is a garage queen so they are lightly used.

i'm interested to see how the OEM refills hold up over time. so far so good, and at a fraction of the cost of new wiper blade assemblies.
