The poll is rigged. There's no option for leaving it alone.

 

Honestly I think the QX56 (QX80?) fuji centered looks the best, the skyline and infiniti look out of place. But at least it's something you can trial and error with.

Option 1 doesn't account for the "G37" over to the right.

 

I'm not interested in putting that back on the trunk. But hey, if you start an identical polling thread, you could add that as an option.

 

Another thing to factor in would be whether one has painted tail lights or overlays. I fully debadged mine to paint them, and absolutely hated how it looked. I installed bat's GTR overlays a few days later and it completely changed it. And though I still plan on rebadging, I've grown content w/ the bare trunk look for the time being.

 

Good point, ETrev. Also on your car, you've got more definition going on, with the OEM trunk spoiler and that roof wing.

Not a fan of side window visors, but your car is looking real fine in that pic.

I didn't get the impression that this poll was specific to your car, as far as a direction for "improvement". I thought it was a general poll to see what the forum thinks about debadging.

Knowing that, I'll take another look and vote accordingly.

What is funny to me is that the INFINITI letters only option only has my vote.

And I kind of like the oversized Fuji only idea, too.

 

I was torn between option 1 and option 3. I voted option 1.

 

I removed the INFINITI and replaced it with my favorite college team logo painted in similar color to the car

 

Bare or larger Mt Fuji centered only. Anything else looks like the whole alphabet spelled out on your trunk.

 

It looks like voting is winding down, and the top dogs are:

• Fuji, Infiniti - no G37S (current state)
• Fuji Only - original or oversized, and centered

I don't plan on doing anything until Spring, because it's nasty winter right now. And even then, LOL. But I appreciate the comments and the interest. This thread can continue forever, in so much as anyone ever finds it. Good info, interesting photoshopped representations.

While I'm liking the oversized, centered Fuji-only idea, I'm still SMH why no one else is interested in the INFINTI-letters only approach. Too funny.

 

I have the Fuji Logo and G37S left on my sedan. The "Infiniti" is gone.
