Black/stone is a better look, I think most people would agree. Can't imagine what the Nissan designers were thinking.

As for imagining how it looks... Google.

No need to google when you'll do it for me

Yeah yeah yeah...

Looking at that pic, as compared to my 2011 6MT Stone Interior, I'm reminded how much better the AT center console looks over the 6MT. Those long trim pieces down each side really are a nice touch. As well as the placement of the heated seat *****, and an honest-to-god cup holder... opposed to the joke of a cup holder we have in the 6MT.

Oh well.

Here, see what I mean... too much beige. And a center console that just doesn't measure up to the AT for style:

The cup holders on the sedans aren't all that great. There's a little spring loaded divider which tends to fold downward when a cup larger than 22oz is inserted. Once this divider folds down, it loses most of it's ability to steady the cup. The cup is pretty free to tip over when making turns when this happens.

The AT console does look much better- a couple of trim pieces can really dress that area up. But the cupholders still stink. I have issues with it holding many different sized cups. In fact, the G's cupholders are barely a step up from my Miata's- that's almost 20 years of evolution there (or not there is the case).

Speaking of cupholders, it's interesting how something so detached from intended purpose of a car can really sour an interior and the perception of said interior.
