2012 g37x Wont Accelerate

Hi guys, long time lurker, needed to post today for much needed help!

Last night i slipped a bit on snow, after which my ABS and Traction Control light remained on (yellow on the dash) i didn't think much of it until this morning.

I went to start my car and noticed the rear taillights remained on over night, as i pulled out of my drive to accelerate the car would not go past 2000 rpm or 30 miles per hour. with my foot pressed down fully the car did not accelerate, i have disconnected the battery via the negative terminal, i hopes it was simply electronic, the car still will not accelerate.

any help would be much appreciated as the nearest dealer is over 2 hours from my current location.

Your car is in limp mode. Get the car checked out to see what codes it is throwing then you can get the right work done. Otherwise try resetting you ECU and that might be a short term fix for it.

I did reset ecu to no avail, has anyone else had this happen?

My ABS light is still on, my rear brake lights are also still illuminated, I only went a matter of feet while on the ice/snow .. Why would this initiate a "limp mode"
