Issues with VDC, switch won't turn it off.

Hey everyone, ever since I switched my clutch slave cylinder to the z-speed one, my vdc off switch has not worked. I hit it and absolutely nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas? I have. 2009 G37S 6MT

The only way I was able to disable VDC was to unplug the Yaw sensor in the center console. I highly recommend this free mod.

My problem is the VDC is always on, and the switch to turn it off (even if it just mildly turns it off) doesn't work anymore.

Just a WAG, but is there any chance it is just a failsafe/default state for the VDC to remain on if there is something wrong with the clutch engagement interlock switch (which could have been altered during recent work on the clutch slave)?

Vehicle Dynamic Control. Otherwise known as Traction Control.

It's the thing you turn off after watching too much Top Gear.

I wouldn't sweat the vdc too much. I don't know your driving skills, but most serious accidents start with "vdc off shouldn't be too bad right?" Until you hit gravel that shouldn't have been there. My 1 degree slight oversteer became 359 more last night because of new gravel on road that I knew, on an empty street. Don't be like me.
