Infiniti G37 Keeps Hanging On With Real Sales Numbers | The Truth About Cars
Infiniti’s G37 sedan continues to attract a meaningful amount of attention from entry-level luxury car buyers in the United States, long after it was replaced by the Q50.
It’s still a fast car. It may be the better driver’s car. And it’s the cheaper of the two, as well, with a base price (including destination and handling) of $33,855, $4200 below the price of the least costly Q50.
11,327 G sedans have been sold in the United States over the last eight months, almost precisely one G37 per two Q50s.

Wife is suffering from upgradeitis with her QX56.
She saw the new Escalade in a commercial before the movie we saw last night and then claimed she saw one in the parking lot on her way home.
So I had to pull up info in bed last night and show her the $$$ it would cost to get a new one. Plus I told her that they were having production problems so we wouldn't want one until they fixed the issues on the initial batches.
Prescription for upgradeitis filled....for now.

Factory sport pkg adds the bells & whistles but its absence doesn't necessarily declassify the 4 door G as a sport sedan, relative to what else is out there for the price (altima, maxima, accord, etc) the journey trim is a performer in its own right (let's be honest, the red S doesn't make that much of a difference)

I'd take my Journey over a loaded FWD Maxima or Altima anyday.

I paid off my 2009 a couple of years ago & I have no plans to upgrade. The performance & handling is still top notch and the design still looks current. This design ages very well.

LOL!
She's yet to mention it again so perhaps we've cleared that hurdle for a bit. There's not much out there to look at. They made subtle revisions to the 2015 QX80 so it looks better. But it's still not a looker. Then again I don't think our QX is much to look at either. I'd want to look hard at the MB GL and perhaps the new Q7 if they grow it a bit.
