Nice to hear, and hopefully they're done w/ the crappy thin wall straight tip version.
Post some pics when you get it installed.
Mine is over 3 yrs old now and still looks great & sounds even better.

Here's a large thread on it, they started out w/ very nice quality beveled/rolled tips, then went to horrible thin wall straight tips, then carried both the good & the bad at the same time. So whenever you order these you MUST be sure you're getting the bevelled/rolled tips.

I ordered the beveled tips on Saturday!!! I read the previous reviews first! Now I am debating whether or not to order a aftermarket Y pipe. They are around $150 shipped on ebay.

They show the beveled tips on ebay.

I would just contact them first, tell them you are about to order on e-bay and will dispute the charge if they send you ones that do not look like the picture. If you do it via email, send them a copy of the picture, and include your 411.

Once they confirm, order away. I'm guessing it would be OK.

(I'm chatting with Amazon right now about a late package, so managing shipping vendors is on the brain right now. They are trying to get me to accept the "wait and see" thing, like I am dumb enough to accept a solution that requires no cost or effort on their part and does absolutely nothing to resolve the fact that they failed to meet their commitment. Oh...now they are owning up that it was delayed a the carrier facility.)

Same here. The Q300 i was looking at also ran between $850-910 shipped. The Top Speed was $549 shipped!!! I am debating getting a y pipe also in ebay for $150 shipped. If I do get it, my exhaust will be $700 shipped total brand new! Can't beat that deal!

Here's a little DIY for painting the cans black, looks much better IMO and is still holding up the same as the day I painted them.

You might as well go ahead and do it. You will still be saving money and will sound better than the q300. Im glad i waited a extra week before deciding.
