Break-in period after installing new cat-back?

Just had a new cbe installed.

Is it just me(perhaps I'm going crazy haha) or is there a break-in period?

Seems like every day I drive it sounds/performs a little better?

It usually a couple hundred miles. The tone mellows out depending on the exhaust

I think there is a little bit of a break in period. I just turned 1000 miles with the Invidia Q300 and it's gotten noticeably louder.
