How does it sound under load? That was where the catback on my truck bothered me most . I live in Austin where 75% of my commute involves driving through hills. The truck sounded awesome on straight flat roads, but most of the time I had to crack the windows to keep the resonance out of the cabin while driving in hilly areas :/
I had mine just taken off for a while, got exhaust fumes in the cabin so I had the pipes put on. The metal shields over the mufflers actually make it LOUD with no pipe. It's quieter with the straight pipes on. The pipes really are quiet at anything below 3k, they're no problem for long trips. I drove to the drags this past weekend doing 60-80 the whole way, and got complimented by a friend on how quiet/comfortable my car is. Although, he daily drives a 650whp pro charged SN95 Cobra, hahaha. They're louder than stock obviously, but still totally civilized. I was asked to get a clip of the tach while driving, so I'll take it up a hill for you too. I'll try and do it today, if I can.

Thanks for doing this OP.
Your commentary was great throughout and I think you did well.

Please keep it civil. Respect the OP's thread and keep your personal issues with one another out of people's legitimate threads. Please learn to use the Ignore List, it works wonders. If you truly don't care what someone has to say, simply ignore them and move on. You'll never see any of their posts and wont feel compelled to argue or rebut. If another member truly irks you that much, why keep reading their posts? If you aren't ignoring them then it would seem like you either really aren't that bothered or simply want to argue for the sake of arguing. Let's not do that.

[in best stern dad voice] "Don't make me turn this car around or come back there!"

ScrewstonNismo, thanks for compiling all this info w/ the clips & details, sounds quite good. For future threads it's better to keep everything compiled in one thread and if you want I could compile the three into one and close the other three. Just let me know.

Thanks BlackBetty for doing some clean-up.

Chekov, I think your intentions start out on the right track but they seem to derail into too much redundant banter that the OPs' thread gets way off track. Your points are clearly taken, but when you can't let things go a sour taste arises pretty quick, just sayin......

Rochester, well I think he just likes the show, and would rather not change the channel

Hey! Thanks, I appreciate it. Sure thing! Next time I'll make sure and do that, I just wanted to make sure everyone who was interested got to see it. Feel free to compile it if you think that's best, I really don't mind either way.

What I'll do is put a link to your first two threads in your first post in thread #3 and close the first two threads, that way everything will be in one concise place and the discussion can flow from one thread. Thanks for your time & effort in putting this together BTW.
Brad

New thread w/ ongoing discussion is now here~

Why not just merge all the threads together into one?
