You guys are right! I could of swore I turned it off when I first got the car (annoying feature, agreed). It's not in the menu. Maybe I assumed it was there after reading the manual.
One way to circumvent this is to set one of the presets to the proper position, the other to the seat all the way back, wheel at the top.

That's funny that you suggest this. I actually did this very thing when I first bought the car. But the novelty wore off really quick. Plus, consciously pressing the "get in/out of the car" button just isn't the same thing as having the car do it automatically.

Lol! I do this (circumvent things) all day at my job (reprogramming of cell phones to work on other networks).
If this feature actually did work, I'd be the first to disable it. I can see the motors wearing out prematurely from the constant operation. I'm grateful to have memory seats to begin with. It was always a hassle in the old car (also a MT) to readjust the seat after someone else drove it.
