Grease Spot in Leather

I everyone, so there has been this annoying grease spot on the headrest of my drivers seat since I bought the car 6 months ago. I can wipe it away and it looks good for an hour or so, then it comes right back. I even tried some leather conditioner/cleaner and had the same result. This is really annoying, any ideas?

Me too. Right where my elbow rests.

If you network around some local detailing shops, you might find some leather experts who can help out.

Also, instead of leather cleaning, start researching "leather restoration".

Are you saying you wipe it and then after driving it goes back to being greasy? You probably just have oily hair. Change shampoos?

Lol, it's not me or my shampoo. It's the previous owner. I'm gonna take the head rest off and bring it somewhere to get it checked out.

Bingo!

And if repair or cleaning doesn't work... perhaps INFINITI parts out the headrest separately from the seats, in which case buying a new one is an option, too.

Some quick googling, and that's about $225 brand new. Ouch.

I was looking into a replacement drivers seat due to the leather having a few deep creases in it. For that kind of cash $1500-$2000 I can live with it I guess.

$225 for a headrest!!!! That's crazy. I'm sure I can get it restored/cleaned for much less than that.

Look into Ammo Lather. I have used it on my car before and it tends to work well.

Looked up a homemade paste involving flour, baking soda, water and salt. Gonna leave it overnight and see how it looks:
