to show that you don't need to use those tow hook mount which cost around $80+.

Guys he had a good idea to zip tie one thing to another. Don't have to bash the fella. Can I get a DIY for the dog and stars? I like the crown.

I didn't want ppl to see my plate # haha...S5 edit mode to cover up the # hehe.

I'll post the picture of the zip tie and pic of zip tie mount later. It beats drilling and tow hook or use this bracket (friend use this instead):

Gunmetal Universal JDM Front Lower Bumper License Plate Relocator Bracket Holder | eBay

or you can look and find the L shape bracket at home depot.

Always nice to find alternatives to drilling through the bumper, might want to put some foam weatherstripping anywhere the plate meets the bumper since it will scuff the surface pretty good.

Thanks for reminder. I did put foam strip in back of the plate for that purpose.

As someone who was faced with this last year, i wish I had seen this thread.

I used 3M tape (clear with interlocking mesh) which was about 7 bucks and it held well. I have a pretty smooth space below the grille - as I have a 08 non-sport, but front plates are a pain in the A$$
