Converting a '10 G37x Sedan to G37xS

So before anyone says I didn't use the search function, I did. I have found a good amount of things on the difference between G37x and G37xS sedans but have not had full clarification on this. Some things I have read say that the only difference is the BBK and sport tuned suspension and obviously visual difference but I have also read that it doesn't come with the sport tuned suspension because of being an x so i don't know.

I just wanted to receive full clarification on the difference between a 2010 G37x sedan and G37xS sedan because I was thinking about making the upgrade but am not exactly sure on what the difference is. I don't really care about the different seats and visual things, rather the mechanical things.

Thanks

The G37s comes with the BBK, sport tuned suspension, sport seats, sport bumper, 18" sport wheels ( 18x7.5 in the front, 18x8.5 in the rear) and of course 6spd.

The G37xS includes the visual sport appearance, paddle shifters and 18" sport wheels ( 18x7.5 all around )

The G37x has a different front bumper, 17" wheels, non sport seats, and no paddle shifters

Thank you for the run down.

Does the xS come with sport tuned suspension or is that only for S?

I think only the "S" has the tuned suspension. For the sedan the xS only gets the seats and front facia. I think the xS coupe gets the BBK.

Okay so the xS sedan doesn't have the BBK?
So basically, the only difference for the xS sedan and x are the visual things and nothing mechanical at all?

I was in the same situation when i was in the market for one, and the price diff between the X and XS was too much.. i ended up going with the X as i was going to lower it anyways, so the sport tuned suspension didnt matter, i added the paddle shifters, so that didnt matter either.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that the xs does in fact get a stiffer or maybe taller suspension upgrade, but only the rear

x and xS are the same for suspension. I would just purchase an xS for the appearance package and the seats alone. The seats were my biggest reason for choosing the G37 over other awd luxury cars, well that and the VQ sound.

The G37 IMO is the hottest sedan out there, not a biased opinion or anything :P
It's the perfect mixture of luxury and sport mixed together for an affordable price.

I don't understand how they can have an x and xS though that are the same besides the appearance and seats though, just my thoughts.

I just got the 11 LE a couple of months back and I love it but I was wondering if the suspension from the S sedan is interchangable with the xS or not.... It definitely needs to get beefed up a bit
