Why was a Sedan your choice?

A quarter past stripped
The only problem I have with your statement is that this info is based off of tha fact that the sedan makes 328 while the coupe makes 330. I have seen multiple dyno pulls that can't solidly prove the hp difference of a sedan & coupe. So I would add that the reason why Infiniti says the sedan makes 328hp is to also say that the coupe still has a better power to weight than the sedan even though the coupe is heavier. The ecu maps are the same.
This however was not the reason for my purchase. The sedan just made more sense, in my life then the coupe.
After thinking on this a bit more lets consider the two vehicles. Where is the center on gravity on the coupe VS. the sedan? And would the amount of weight being placed on the rear tires make a difference in traction on the dyno, resulting in a difference of figures? Food for thought? Opinions? or am I just over thinking this issue?
God I need some coffee.

You're right. If you research the spec sheets on infinityG37.com, the weight differences are negligible. I must have had that 100 pound number stuck in my head from a misinterpretation in models (AWD, RWD, 6MT).
Well, that clears that up for me. Good to know.
I suspect the added 2 ponies are a factor of the different exhausts. Anybody know why they'd be different?

I always preferred sedans over coups unless it was a top notch coupe such as the Maserati or Ferrari. The g37 sedan is more of an every day car with tons of fun while still looking classy. You can go from suit and tie to jeans and sneakers with the sedan. I really didn't like the g37 coupe though and I often see a lot of those on the road so that helped take my interest away and eye the sedan more.

Seemed seamless coming from an 03 Maxima and 95 Maxima. Wanted something similar in size which the newer 04+ maxmia's do not offer. The coupes are overpriced as is the 370z. No significant benefits of having a coupe over the sedan. The sedan fully loaded looks better inside and out. IPL and Anni coupe are the only coupe model I'd entertain.

I've always been a fan of sports sedans. Sporty looks and handling combined with some practicality. But most aren't quite sporty enough for me so I like to lower it a bit more, add 19" wheels, etc. I've done that with the BMW 3 series, Acura TL and now the G.
When I see somebody driving a coupe around here they either look like their 20 something or on the other spectrum late middle aged. If it has a loud exhaust it's usually not the latter.

In your defense, it's true that automotive preferences are personal and subjective. But in the context of majority opinion and the community here of mostly supportive and like-minded people, yours isn't worth a jar of ****.
Troll much?

Cross shopped each of these vehicles. Value for dollar is what it came down to. 335 coupe with stick and I wasn't impressed coming from n/a Z. Audi was nice, underpowered yet smooth but value and reliability ratings were a no. Acura decent product, fwd biased awd system less power and deals were not as attractive vs. infiniti. Lexus, could not find a is350 to test drive, is250 way underpowered.
I am happy with G after all is said and done, great value always been a nissan guy(Love VQ'S Maxima, 2 different Altima's, 350Z), and when I mod I will be even happier!
