In my world, no decent parent would deprive a kid the satisfaction that comes from earning their way in life. So there has to be much more going on here than what's on the surface of this thread, and some of us here might have made an unfair assumption based on too little information.

Valedictorian? A summer abroad with the Peace Corp? Donated a kidney, maybe?

Or maybe you're the most awesome kid ever, and they want you to know it. Let's go with that one.

Congrats on such a great Christmas present. I'm sure being a good son helped them with their decision. Just be smart driving your G and not let them down. Definitely personalize it and make it your own.

If your planning doing some mods, do some searching on this forum and you'll find some great ideas. Have fun.

I love my parents, they do an amazing job of raising my 3 other brothers and I - They're far greater than decent.

I'm all about earning it, but I'm not about to complain.

Thanks! I'll be plenty careful with it.

I'm going to try, I've frequented this forum since early this year so I've got most of what i want in mind. Problem is, I have no money! So that'll all have to wait.

Must have had a good buyout. I had the opportunity to get my dads first 04 G35x after his lease was up but even then the residual was higher than it was worth. So he bought an 05 G with lower miles for less money and that was my first car... he knew I loved that 04 G35x though.. I use to spend saturdays waxing and polishing my dad's leased car roflmao.

As stated, this forum is full of people who KNOW about these cars. I surfed this forum close to a year just reading, studying, and gaining inspiration on how to do up my G. Become a member to support this worthy forum. I hope to see you make that ride all that these cars can be made to be.

I'm pretty sure he got a good deal on it. Nice man. I was always out cleaning it and keeping it spotless, same with the QX. Now it's all mine to keep clean!

Eventually when I have some extra money to spend that doesn't go to the car, i'll go premium. I'm going to take it slow and do it right. I have to take it slow anyway, I'll be saving up for a while before I can afford any parts!
