Currently I love my Tanabe but I know I'm robbing myself of power with only the y-pipe and axle back. If I had know Tanabe didn't make a mid-pipe for the sedan I would've never bought the axle back. I priced one shop for mandrel bent piping and they want $800-$1200. FTS!
Looks great, I really like the roof. Definitely different. I didn't think I would like the look of the lip wrap in a darker car but I do. I really like the contrast in the lighter cars but this is nice and subtle.

So just an update to one of my previous posts about buying the Meiserchaft axle backs. I've decided to put my purchase on hold and use the money I was going to use towards the axle backs to pay off my last credit card and pay down my loan for my G some more. This wasn't any easy choice to make buy I know it is the right one.

Of course, that's a lot easier said than done, but it gets easier with age. You still get impatient, you just don't act on it as readily.

Laudable goals... however, if the loan rate is so low that the total interest paid is insignificant, then it doesn't really matter. As long as you plan for mods on the calendar according to a set budget, no harm done.

I think I had a 1.99% loan for 4 years but I'd rather not give them that extra 2 years of interest. Now a days I try and pay cash for everything I purchase. Credit card loans on the other hand is another issue. The average percentage rate for a credit card is 15.38%, if you have good credit, so It would not be advisable to make minimum payments on credit card loans. So payoff all those high interest credit card loans everyone!

Since I'm relatively young, I'm using my auto load as a credit building tool. 1.28% APR is tolerable, planning to make payments for another 18 mo or so and pay off the balance (only financed about 10k)
Main driver for me to hold off on modding is to keep my car consistently "fresh". I plan of keeping it for 6+ years (likely even longer considering the market for true sport sedans is drying up quick!), so pacing mods accordingly will prevent my car from getting "stale" to me. That and I'm still very satisfied with the upgrade the G offers over my last car, so until that wears off, no big rush to mod (although I would like to start tackling smaller, cosmetic stuff)
Also considering I barely drive it, any mods now will offer marginal benefit
YOWSA!!!

Back around 1980, average mortgage rates almost hit 20%. Imagine trying to wrap your head around that debt monster.
