I've never seen one of these. Native FWD, so it never hit my radar. Sounds like Subaru lost thousands on each model sold.

I've always thought the SVX was a beautiful design, inside and out. Notwithstanding the whole window-in-a-window thing, I think the design was something that stands the test of time, like the MK3 model Supra, or the C4 late-model Corvette. My understanding is Subaru priced the car WAY outside comparable cars, not to mention way outside their market base. It was a failure, but it sure was pretty.

I was rather shocked to see one, particularly in such good condition. I should have taken a photo.

I have a Turbo II FC. I sold the G to pay down some debts, get my wife's last two college courses paid for, and the left overs go to the RX7. The couple that bought my G37 were extremely excited about it and had similar goals to me. I think it's going to the right owners. They may even post here eventually since I left them my build as well as the previous owners posts as well. My G was (arguably) at it's absolute peak when I sold it. Sometimes that's the best time to sell.

Gotta question guys after some background. 2011 G37S manual. Have been running Fast Intentions hfc and 2-1/4 exhaust for a few years. Z1 long tube intakes and their Ecutek tune. Maybe 2 years ago I had to replace the passenger side section due to a rattle within the muffler. I had a bit of a sound difference between the 2 sides despite the rattle. Maybe 6 months ago I had a check engine light due to exhaust leak between the hfc and OEM manifold. Decided to throw on my Fast Intentions resonated test pipes and new gaskets. No more check engine light. But now the sound difference is more pronounced. The passenger side has more of a blaaaat sound whereas the drivers side is smoother and deeper. Cold start is a huge difference in loudness and tone. Any ideas what could be causing the difference? On interstate driving if I'm against the wall on driver's side it's just a deep, tuned exhaust sound. If I move over to a wall on passenger side it's just a loud, obnoxious blaaaat sound. And I've noticed under easy acceleration up to 3k they sound the same as the driver's side. But quicker acceleration or above 3k causes the awful sound on the passenger side. Don't think it's the muffler since it's newer and the sound was there before it got replaced. I'm really hoping it's not something engine related on the passenger side.

Nah, I wouldn't buy one. Just like how this morning I got deep into the tablet looking at this Indy Pace Car Fiero. It was truly cool, even though it wasn't the GT or the Formula. But I wouldn't get one of those either. Just nostalgia is all. Red carpets, man! LOL I remember test driving the Fiero new 40 years ago, and even then it was to go-karty for me. I'd probably hate it today, but still love to stare at it.

Subaru Justy with the SVX engine and an exo-roll cage... Justy was a flat 3 so the engine bay is (barely) big enough for the 6.
Fiero with a ZR1 engine kit. Lots of V8 engine choices out there. Pray the rest of it doesn't fall apart LOL.
For giggles, Jeep Cherokee (the old one) with a Jag V12. The 4L jeep engine is enormous. Measured the 5L v12 and it would fit. Have to switch to a chevy transfer case/transmission though.

Anybody else use a leaf blower to help dry their car after a wash? It sheers most all of the water, and it's perfect for the wheels and brakes.
