They could be 4.5" but I don't remember seeing them @ that size when I was researching axle backs. I think they come only in 4.0". I'm not 100%, but I am pretty sure,

I'm really tossed up from buying a complete CBE or just adding some pipping to connect my Tanabe y-pipe and axle backs. What seems to be the choice CBE for the sedans?

Ah, thanks, Alfredo. That is good to know you can get a normal, SS tip direct. If I did go with ARK, though, I'd probably cut off the tips and weld something else on. Even the SS one here doesn't do it for me. Too wide, and the face angle is a flat zero degrees, which looks kind of weird on the G37, IMO.

I think my next tips will be rolled oval with a slash cut. Learned my lesson this time around with single-wall, even though I do really love that 45* slash against the curvature of our bumper.

What problem did you have with the single wall?

An un-rolled, single-wall tip looks fine and sharp at an angle:

...but completely disappears when viewed straight from behind:

Nope. I was going for subtle, not invisible. It's OK, though, because Catback in two years, at which point I'll do something else. Until then, good enough.

Need4Speed wrote me yesterday saying the wheels/tires are almost ready to ship, just waiting on the TPMS adapter for the front rims.

DOMO

Oh man, I hope I didn't over-hype expectations on these wheels. On the other hand, my expectations on 4 brand new PSS tires are pretty accurate.

I ordered my ARK with burnt tips and it should arrive next thursday.

Will get it installed the next day so you will see how the tips look on a white sedan.

Cant wait!

I really love the sound of my Invidia Q300 CBE paired up with Berk HFCs and I've been getting compliments from people I know and strangers as well ! I couldn't be happier ! it's not obnoxious at all, It is subtle when you want it to be but then has a nice deep tone when you hit on gas but isn't obnoxious at all

I've been snowed in for two days, haven't driven my car since Tuesday. Probably going to drive my wife to work tomorrow so I can have her MDX instead of my G.

Snow sucks.

Do you guys just ignore the TPMS when it gets really cold out?

My warning seems to go on around 35degrees or so.

With cold weather you will naturally lose pressure. Once you start driving and warming up the tires your pressure should increase again and reset your TPMS. If it doesn't add air.
