It will definitely be a good day once the install is done of the exhaust + pads + rotors. I'm looking forward to the lightened steering/cornering feel of removing that rotating weight. Will hopefully make the somewhat heavy G feel more nimble. I'm also planning to weigh the car after that because I've done quite a few weight reduction mods. I'm hoping to get real close to breaking 3500-3550.
I bought a set of HFCs that came with the Z1 gasket and though they were used they were good still. I didnt like the finish.
The cats I got (unsure on brand) had a factory style flange that accepted the donut so I went with the donut.
As for the rest of the flanges I used Mahle's gasket from Autozone. It's the best gasket you can buy and the price is great.

While I have my car apart I ordered the whiteline diff bushings.... ready for another PITA job lol.

Does Z1 usually run memorial day sales? I'm considering getting better intakes as well while the car is apart. Maybe after that I can finally get it tuned.

Guys, this is a weird one. You know I've been whining about my AC being weak. Well today my kid was in the car, and she asked me to turn down the AC. Apparently it's only weak on my side of the dashboard.

WTF is that all about? I'm getting full fan, just not the same kind of cold air.

You have multizone temp control? Both sides set to same temp (sync)?

How about heat? One side gets hotter than the other? Blending/mixing door issue?

Ok, so it's the blend mechanism used for the dual climate control then. It must be stuck.

Now we're getting somewhere! Yes, I have dual zone climate control. Hmmmmm. I think we all do, don't we?

iCrap, do you know where that mechanism lives? I wonder if getting it "unstuck" is a lubrication, or a new part.

Unsure on these cars, since thankfully mine has not had issues yet. It should just be a matter of lubrication. There's probably a section for this in the fsm. Hopefully not too much disassembly required.

It lives in the forsaken zone

Inside of the heater box, whole dash, heater hoses and crash bar need to be removed.
Did you ever get the pressures checked?

Oh geeze, I'm not going to do any of that. Yikes.

No, other than the recharge gauge telling me I was at proper pressure already.

If the seller can ever ship me the 2.5 INNER diameter pipe I ordered, I'll have my long tube cais with R2C filters up for sale. See build thread for pics.

Rochester, depending on how much the issue bothers you, you might be able to access the driver side temperature blend door motor from under the dash. On the "climate box" there are four motors that modulate the different doors to achieve the desired output (fresh air, mode (vent, floor, defrost), and the two (2) temp blends (driver/pass):

(sample images taken from ebay/web)

For the driver side, you can remove the motor and check that the blend door moves freely. Any sticking or binding and you'll know for certain. You can also "cycle" the motor to make sure it is working fully. Though very rare, these motors do fail.

Either way, unless the blend door is seriously stuck you will not have to remove the climate box to diagnose/ repair.

I did a three-month free trial years ago, and I'm still able to listen via the app on my Roku player. I'm not sure if it's an oversight on their part, or by design.

If it's worth it to you, satellite radio is fine whatever the cost. However, don't think you can just "cancel" the service if you want to move on, regardless what they say. You keep getting billed, they make it impossible to connect with someone who will just close the account. You actually have to start keeping a record of the calls and events in order to make your case. It's nuts. They're worse than the cable company.

it takes me four hours on phone with XM Sirius representative to cancel finally my subscription. I'll tell him that I selling my car and he still harassing me with probably another 200 offers until giving up and cancel my account. Never ever again. I have the Tidal for 10 bucks a month HiFi and sound quality is outstanding.
