Hit the nail on the head with that comment. Usually it's a PR flag hanging from the rear view mirror or a PR flag sticker on the bumper.

What's up Sedan crew, new to the forum. Been on G35 driver with my 04 for years.. Just picked up a 2012 G37Xs. Is there any new news on company's other D2 & BC that offer coilovers for the X sedan. For the guys that are running BC's, how do you like them?..
I've search it out and can't any new info. on the topic. Thought maybe someone might have some inside info?..

Welcome to the site, congrats on your new X
As far as coils for the X it's pretty limited, Megan, BC, D2 (not sure if they still supply them). A few threads down there's a clunky BC coil thread about various noises coming from the back coils. My Megan coils seem to be quieter but mine are RWD so that may be a moot point. You might look into Swift lowering springs for your X, they get generally good reviews and seem to keep the ride closest to stock if you only need a mild drop.

Yes, it is the power steering fluid cooler.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind
I do want the option of adjusting the ride height in the winter though. I check things out & see what my options are.

Oil plug... LOL. No, the little plug showed up last week. Silly.

Cats officially show up today. Going get the car inspected first week in March, and have the cats installed as soon after as possible. Very likely before the summer wheels get on the car, even. We'll see.

Been planning on HFC since about the time I bought the car. First I wanted Stillen, because for some reason I was thinking Stillen's catback. Then I wanted Berk, then FI, and then FI's resonated cats. So that's about two years in the planning.

No real reason to wait on the HFC's, since it's not like you're turning the wrench and freezing your fingers off. So you're running HFC's and the OEM catback?

I want to get a NYS Inspection before getting the cats on the car. My inspection is due in April, so it'll only be one month early. March is a great time for inspection roll-over, because it gives you the flexibility to use whichever tires are more likely to pass: summers or snows. Knowwhatimean?

That's the plan, Afghanistan.

[edit] And here be the cats. Shiny.

Does the mechanic that's installing them do state inspections? If so you could just buddy I up to him.
