You know what else I ordered? A 16 oz can of "Seal and Squeal" from Lithium Products. It caught my eye somewhere here on the forum a few weeks back. Actually, it was their "Gloss Sauce", but I'm going to play with their sealant instead.

Nice! Didn't even realize that Amazon was carrying the Lithium stuff now. I've been considering trying the Glass Sauce polish for a while now, so I', very interested to see what you think of the Seal and Squeal final finish.

I will be sure to let you know, either here or in my build thread, or maybe a new thread in the body forum. Truth is, I'm thinking more about using this on my wife's car than the G, but both are due for some care before winter. And I pulled out my winter wheels this morning. I need to clay and wax them, too, so I'll probably be testing it out first on the duckfeet.

Stuff is expensive at. $40 for 16oz, but I've been intrigued ever since reading about Lithium.

Lithium Products...

It's people.

Perhaps, I hear they only use farm raised humans though.

I use the Energizer CR2032. You can get a 5-pack on Amazon for around $4 or you can buy 25 of them for around $10, which is what I did, since I have key fobs for a couple other cars that use the same battery.

Those batteries are installed for free at our Nissan store. Maybe worth asking your local Infiniti or Nissan store?

Coincidentally, I just swapped mine in today, and all is right with the world now.

Sometimes I need the convenience of an Amazon link to get motivated.

So, thanks for the Amazon link. I've been perfectly spoonfed.

It is super easy to install them. I got two for 4.70 including tax at Walmart. And I haven't seen the notice since. although they would have been cheaper from Amazon.

Just confirmed, they are free!! Makes me feel bad for me.. I get my transmission fluid changed there. I might just do that again. Haven't had it changed in a few years. They charge 229 still. It it coming on 30k soon. Might just have to do it.

Hahahah... Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I've been wanting to try some of that Lithium Gloss Sauce, but have been too lazy to order it. However, now that I know it is available on Amazon I just ordered some to try... So thank you for that, Rochester! LOL

The dealer here used to do the key fob batteries for free as well... but honestly, at around .50 cents per battery delivered to your door, it's not really worth the drive to the dealer and back.

Unless you are already at the dealer. If you buy them in that much bulk don't they die before you need all of them? Mine usually last about 3 years or so.

Not if you store them in a cool, dry place. I purchase a blister pack of 25 of them from Amazon 7 or 8 years ago and am still using them in 3 of my cars (6 key fobs). The LED lights that I use for my dog collars also use the same battery type. So, I probably only have 4 or 5 of them left and they still seem to last about 2 or 3 years regardless of which car or the amount of usage. My Ram 2500 will be 5 years old in December and I just replaced the battery in one of the key fobs for the second time, so I'm sure the other key fob won't be too far behind it.

lithium batteries should last a long, long while if not being discharged - 10 years or so

Well that makes more sense if you split them up between 3 cars and dog collars. My wife usually trades her cars long before the remotes are up and I was for a while too, but I have had this one over 4 years now. I know I replaced my battery at least once.
