Ordered a pack of 5. Thanks!![Hello](https://www.myg37.com/forums/images/smilies/hello.gif)
You know what else I ordered? A 16 oz can of "Seal and Squeal" from Lithium Products. It caught my eye somewhere here on the forum a few weeks back. Actually, it was their "Gloss Sauce", but I'm going to play with their sealant instead.

Stuff is expensive at. $40 for 16oz, but I've been intrigued ever since reading about Lithium.

Yeah, that warning is pretty common and is more than likely just a low battery warning for the key fob. Does it go away if you put the key fob in the key port in the dash to the left of the steering wheel? I've had to replace the battery in my key fob every 2 - 3 years since I've owned the car. I use the Energizer CR2032. You can get a 5-pack on Amazon for around $4 or you can buy 25 of them for around $10, which is what I did, since I have key fobs for a couple other cars that use the same battery.

Coincidentally, I just swapped mine in today, and all is right with the world now.
Sometimes I need the convenience of an Amazon link to get motivated.
So, thanks for the Amazon link. I've been perfectly spoonfed.

It is super easy to install them. I got two for 4.70 including tax at Walmart. And I haven't seen the notice since. although they would have been cheaper from Amazon.

Just confirmed, they are free!! Makes me feel bad for me.. I get my transmission fluid changed there. I might just do that again. Haven't had it changed in a few years. They charge 229 still. It it coming on 30k soon. Might just have to do it.

The dealer here used to do the key fob batteries for free as well... but honestly, at around .50 cents per battery delivered to your door, it's not really worth the drive to the dealer and back.

Unless you are already at the dealer. If you buy them in that much bulk don't they die before you need all of them? Mine usually last about 3 years or so.
Not if you store them in a cool, dry place. I purchase a blister pack of 25 of them from Amazon 7 or 8 years ago and am still using them in 3 of my cars (6 key fobs). The LED lights that I use for my dog collars also use the same battery type. So, I probably only have 4 or 5 of them left and they still seem to last about 2 or 3 years regardless of which car or the amount of usage. My Ram 2500 will be 5 years old in December and I just replaced the battery in one of the key fobs for the second time, so I'm sure the other key fob won't be too far behind it.
