You completely can shatter a sunroof with too much sound pressure level. And windows. Any glass, including mirrors, really.

Also - reason for doing this. 1. Advertising - car show demos really work to advertise your shop, even it it's a client's car. 2. Money. Some of these shows have fairly substantial rewards. We won one in Charlotte NC back in the 90s and made $10k.

Just a couple quick questions:

Does Ark Grip AWD also fit on the RWD?
Do all the AWD Sedan suspension components swap over to the AWD Coupe?

ARK is universal, made for RWD first, but just so happens to fit the AWD because of the y-pipe design.

Not 100% sure on sedan vs coupe suspension, but going off the fact that most spring companies have different part numbers for sedan vs coupe, I can only speculate that there are some differences.

Coupe and sedan are the same with regards to suspension fitment. Only fly in that ointment is that AWD front is unique to the G37 family.

Reason I ask is because I am buying a RWD 6 speed and I'm potentially going to swap parts between the two. Guess my AWD will be a the designated daily / winter beater now.

junkyard local to me just got a 2009 in. What is the same as between 2009 and 2013 that I should try to grab (ie, commonly broken parts)?

Also - PM me if you need something. I'll look.

Everything under the body shell should transfer over, fuse panels and ECU may be different, but for the most part with the exception of the front end body metal, grill, headlights and bumper covers it should transfer over.

Exclamation G37 Sedan Universal mufflers from Z1

Hi there fellow g37 owners! I'm trying to do a custom exhaust on my car. So far I have 18 inch vibrant resonators and I just bought some z1 hfcs. Now I'm looking at their universal mufflers. They have the z1s and greddy universal mufflers. Does anybody here have any experience with these mufflers if so how are they? Thanks you.

Welcome to the site,

You would be better served by asking this question in the Tech/Intake & Exhaust forum. Look through the pinned Sedan Exhaust thread at the top of this forum, too.

Subaru's EyeSight system saved my butt yesterday. Car in front of me in a busy line of traffic slammed her brakes without signaling, and turned right (into a day care center, of all places.) My Subaru hit the brakes before I could. Wow.

The car behind me... he slammed his brakes and ran into the stones and dirt along the side of the road. Again... Wow.

My wife's CX-5 has smart city braking - does the same thing. Freaky when it happens, you end up wondering what the hell the car just did.

That's the first time it's happened... had the Subaru for a year now. Normally I leave an significant distance between me and the car in front, but traffic was jammed up and slow moving. And like I said, she didn't signal.

Quite a wake-up call.

Nice, crisis averted! Hope the car behind you didn't suffer too much damage. Getting rear-ended is something I worry about more with the G, with its ability to stop quickly and not show much fuss doing so.
