Im actually finding myself using cruise control a lot more these days than before. After working on the car for 2 days straight on the weekend, the drive home is just me half dead and the car doing most of the driving. This week I was so tired, I just took the q50 home and let it drive. The G is still at the cottage, chilling in the garage.

He did say "run in" maybe he raced the owner of the car on foot into the door.
I don't really race i just follow speeding cars when I'm in a rush... Kinda like playing Russian roulette if we pass a cop see who he'll go for but then the person gets carried away and hits too high of speed so i let off and stay with traffic

These days I can count on one hand the number of events that occur over the year, either small or serious. Heck, two years even. But when I was a kid in the 80's with a modified Trans Am and an overabundance of invulnerability, that time frame was more like one or two weeks.
It's all relative. But calling iCrap's comment a "race story" is ridiculous. Pretty lame for a race story.

I get a lot of stop light Grand Prix action, but it's more jockeying for position and trying to get ahead of traffic than "racing". If there are three thru/straight lanes, and the far right lane merges in 100 yards, and there is an open spot in said merging lane, who wouldn't grab that lane if the light is red and get 10-15+ cars ahead, even if it means getting hard into the throttle because the soccer mom in the SUV next to you does the same?

I hate the when the guy behind me tries to whip around me to get one car ahead, especially when it's heavy traffic and there isn't room in front of me.
I drive through a particular intersection every day that has 2 left turn lanes, 3 straight lanes (one merges about 100 yards ahead) and a designated right turn only lane. If that far right lane that merges is empty and the lights red, I'm totally grabbing that lane and getting ahead of all the zombies texting and updating their facespace

I'll say this, with these short rear gears, wide Contis, and just the right launch, it can be pretty shocking when it all works correctly. Similarly, when it all does *not* work correctly, it can be damn embarrassing. That happens too. I'm not proud.
