I will randomly buy her something and then a month later try and buy something for the car and it will be a good debate, lol. She has caught onto my schemes though. Now when I give her something new she asks me "what is it that you want now?" LOL

My wife converts the dollars I spend on car parts to sexual favors. It's a win-win in most cases.

this thread made me realize the importance of choosing a modfriendly wife.

Damn, been married longer than some of you have been alive (25yrs.)
It's all give & take, and as long as she's happy that's half the battle.
Luckily we've got so much in common.
And as far as gambling, sure poker's gambling, but if you've got a decent edge against your fellow players it's much easier to be playing on "house money"

That's what they say. I've been leasing myself, a couple long term, couple shorter term. That way I can always get the new model when it really catches my eye. (Or because they just can't stand me any longer, you decide)

It's 19* outside with ~3/4 inch of snow of the ground. A far cry from the 3"+ being predicted. Schools are closed, and me and my summer tire shod G37 are working from home this morning.

As an added bonus, our nanny called in sick, so I doubt there will be much "working" from home with the kiddos, age 2.5 and 3 months
