Those are nice. I always look @ the rim and think about how hard the care of the rim would be. Example: My F150 has 20X11.5" Ultras on it. They look great but are an absolute nightmare to clean. They are gloss black powdercoat and show every little spec of brake dust.
Me too. I keep my duckfeet clean and waxed, and they're a PITA to wax.
it's all the little grooves and spokes on my stock 17" rims that killed me. I made sure when I went shopping for rims that they wouldn't be like my trucks rims. I wanted to be able to stick my hand through the rim and be able to clean behind all the spokes. The Vossen CV1 I think were a nice 5 spoke job but alas they were concaved.
Yeah take a look at ForgeSTAR. They make some great wheels and I believe cast one to personal spec. CCW are a forged wheel so they might be out of budget.

Forged or not, nothing in the CCW lineup looked appealing to me.
And while Forgestar looks great on paper for options and weight, particularly the F14, the net is littered with horror stories about the F14 cracking under normal stress. Pretty wheel, however.

I have seen those horror stories as well... one of the reasons I would be afraid to get a set, however I really do like the wheel...

Seems we're of the same mind on the F14. Shame, because in as far as lightweight, affordable, 18" options for the BBK go, it's so much more appealing looking than the Enkie RPF1.
Oh well. Not going to buy a wheel where there are numerous reported problems.
That is completely understandable with me. So you're thinking RPF1's? I love those wheels!
Nope. I'm going with Vossen CVT's. They just came out with a 19" version, and just test fit them (today, actually) against Diego's Sport Sedan with a TPMS adapter, for confirmation that they would clear the 4-piston calipers in the front. Without the adapter, Vossen's 19" rims had issue with the BBK.
We're good to go, in as far as decisions and (emotional) commitment. Just need to finalize the details, and gather the funds.

Feeling really good about it, too.
Can't wait to see the final product put into service. Those are some sharp rims.
Congratulations to Rochester on finally making his choice.
Thanks, Boss. Time to see these stickers on cars.

You and me both. The whole idea of hugely appreciating something that I wouldn't have bought otherwise, and being able to say "Thanks, Mom" every time I approach the car... makes me very happy, man.
