G37 Sport Wheels and Tires - 19's

Thoughts on these for my black sedan? I was on the lookout for the other 19" coupe wheels really but I like these as well, and it would appear they have PSSs on them.

Thanks for the pictures, looks good! I was thinking about blacking out some of the chrome too so that's extra helpful.

Why are the diameters different? According to the OEM specs BB posted, those are the OEM sizes, so is that just the sizes those tires come in? Just concerned because I have an x - will the different widths/diameters be an issue? Seems like they will be about a 1% difference in diameter between them.

I would say to hold off until you find the wheels you want, unless the newer 19s are not a compromise.

Although I've dialed back a lot on spending on material stuff, I've learned early that getting something as a substitute for what I really wanted was always a mistake in the long run.

Also I know PSS tires are pricey but those style wheels are not very popular, so their going rate is usually lower than the asking price. If you keep tabs on CL for long enough, I believe you'll come across a great deal

Those are the correct OEM tire sizes for the staggered coupe 19s (19x8.5 & 19x9"), they are borderline for an X, you really want diameter variance under 1%, and these are right at 1%, but the rear tires are already a bit shorter and since the rears wear faster the variance will get larger over time.
You could run them as is and if the AWD light comes on it would be best to ditch the 225s and get another pair of 245s. You can run (4) 245s on those staggered wheels without problems, although you still couldn't do a true 4 wheel rotation since the 19x9" wheels should be in back.

You can unlock the trunk even if the battery is dead by reaching in from the middle seats bucket area. Pull down the arm rest and reach into the trunk and pull the white trunk release hatch.

Just hadn't seen these for sale yet/hadn't thought about them, I like them at least as much. Generally trying to keep an OEMish look so I like these.

And thanks Brad, was hoping you'd chime in on that haha . Don't love the idea of buying these knowing I'll have to replace a set of tires relatively soon. And like you said the rears will wear faster, so they'll be smaller than the new 245s I get from the get go, and then I'm a cycle of them always being worn differently. Although I guess I could get the new tires put on the 9s and move the rear tires up. Hmmm...I'll think about it. For now, focused on installing the R2Cs tonight Thanks again.

By the time i ditched my '04 sedan that was the only way to get into the trunk... so many electrical issues at the end with that car. You learn not to fill the area near the pass through with luggage etc just in case you need in.
