Find me an R8 for 65k and I'll buy it tomorrow lol
Choy I think the GTR is the way to go for sure man and the fact it's your dream car makes the decision that much simpler!

If you want my honest opinion.... I'd keep my G for a daily. Buy a boss 302. Add a procharger D1 stage 2 kit, set of R888. Get tuned by Lund and put the remaining 15k in my retirement. Yea yea. I know. It's a mustang. But I drove one. By drove, I mean I drove the **** out of it. The BEST feeling car I've driven for the money. Tacking it up to 8k and watching it pull all through the rpms was insane. I was out at the half mile in my brothers boosted GT out running FBO gtrs. Kinda pissed me off because I love the GTR lol. But anyway. It's all personal preference. I'm curious to see which route you go. An s4 would def be more practical being sedan and everything. The GTR is a nice, fast, and luxurious car with the maintenance cost of a AWD G lol. I'd drive the **** out of a GTR. But as of right now. I want to keep the G and build something rowdy on the side. My brother got me hooked. Damnit

I think a used GTR in that price range would be years 2009-2012??? not sure....
Otherwise, on a brand new car (luxury/sport sedan)...You've got some options... I think the Cadillac ATS-V would be good choice. I've driven one and it is quick! They've also improved the interior. If you're sticking with an AWD, then the Audi's would be good.
Here's a review from Car & Driver...they've also ranked the sport sedan class in the article.

M2 seems to be getting the best reviews of the Bavarian rides, if you don't really need much room that is.

haha thanks for all the replies!
Don't worry the G wont be going anywhere I thought about trading it in but honestly it wouldn't net me as much as I would like plus I m too lazy to part out at least some of the major stuff like exhaust and coils. The G has been paid off for a few years now so I figure I d just drive it into the ground as my DD either way I go.
I did see the articles about the 2017 S4s which seem to pack a few more ponies under the hood but they switched to a 8 speed.
As for a NSX, Supra, or R32 I thought about it or even buying a 240 and rebuilding the thing from the ground up which probably would end up being cheaper than what I planned to spend in the first place. I think for now I just want a car I can jump in to not worry about anything and drive the ever living **** out of.

You could buy the refreshed 2017 Subaru BRZ coming out this Fall, go full bolt-on and and boost the thing. Figure $30k + $15 in mods, with money left over for a week in the Bahamas for you and a guest. That easily fits your budget, and would be all kinds of fun for a young man with both money and brains.
Hmmm... brains.

The 2017 refresh is a big improvement in details, inside and out. Personally, I love the way the BRZ looks and the incredible reviews, even though I've not driven one. But I've sat in one a few times, and it's a no-go for me, too. Far to thin for my taste. I like a car with more heft to it.
Anyway, I hear you... not on the list.
