I am about to do a custom DIY intake and sell my K&N drop-ins with the filter oil if interested, PM me if you want any info.

Interesting idea on the AEM tubes. Looks good. I'm currently running Mishimoto MAF tubes with K&N drop ins. I'm going to try the R2C drop ins next month just out of curiosity....

Is there a sound increase with MAF tubes and drop-ins?

A little. More if you remove the hood liner.

Slightly. Better flowing filters and the MAF tubes are an upgrade over the stock. They're thicker than the rubber OEM, have heat-resistant embedded fibers, and do away with the accordion ripple for smoother air flow....

Hmmm, not sure if I want MAF tubes with R2C drops ins, or just get R2C intakes. I want the noise increase of intakes (looking for a growl) but I don't want to lose performance. (Not a fan of long tube CAI)

But what if it looks like a large scale condom for Ironman? How about then?

If that would make more power than stock, well, I guess...

Gotta give it some serious consideration, then.

Why aren't you a fan of long tube intakes?

I doubt you'll lose any significant performance with the R2Cs
