Soho Motorsports in Charlotte, NC! No awd Dyno. But they have access to a shop with someone who has an awd Dyno if you're driving an X model
On another note. I found the time to install my nismo shocks, Z1 slotted rotors, and centric brake pads today. The nismo struts made a much bigger difference than expected. Stiffened it up a bit and seems to roll less now. Steering feels a little more responsive. The Braking is amazing compared to stock and I haven't even installed the SS lines yet so I'm excited to see the change in pedal after doing that. If anyone is in need of brakes, definitely check out Z1 motorsport non sport brake package up grade.
F&R slotted rotors
All brake pads
SS lines
2 bottles of motul
Total: 469 + shipping.

Sounds like $500 well spent Phil
Interesting to hear your reviews on the Nismo shocks, that combined w/ your Nismo modified exhaust seem like worthy upgrades for sure.
Which Centric pads did you end up with?

They were better upgrades than I thought. Also, I only have about 350 bucks in them. I will be getting a good set of coils within the next year. The exhaust will stay until my welds break lol My stock struts were gone so I found a cheap way to swap them with something better! We will see how they hold up. With my luck, they're leaking already

Glad you got to install your new upgrades and it looks like things are progressing very nicely on your car. You'll have to let me know your impressions once you get your SS brake lines on. When I got mine, I didn't notice a whole lot of difference.

now to find a good tuner around NJ/VA with an AWD dyno. already scoped out some recommendations and might stop by
My Vibra-Technics transmission mount and TWM STS came in today. I'm going to install the STS myself this weekend and I have an appointment on Monday to have the transmission mount installed.

Interesting. How did you dial into this Vibra-Technics mount, and why'd you choose it? I honestly didn't research the transmission mount enough to even know there were options. Kind of embarrassed to realize that now.
Liam, you should dump this stuff in that thread I started last week. It would be good to contrast opinions and know that there are other options.
And good for you, man! I hope you like both of these mods as much or better than I do.

Clicking around because i'm bored at work....
According to wiki the tech package was available to the 6mt starting in 2009. Last paragraph of the 2009 description....
Then there's this for the 2010....

While doing Google searches for reviews on the Z1 mount, I stumbled on a thread in the 370z forum where someone mentioned Vibra-Technics, so I did some research.
Vibra-Technics is a small company based out of the UK. They only specialize in engine and transmission mounts. Based on my limited research, they seem popular with the bmw/mini and audi/vw crowd. An interesting thing with their mounts is they only use hard rubber. Here's a detailed explanation from their site as to why that is:
"Why do you use rubber rather than urethane?
We use the best materials and technology available to get the job done!
Urethane is superior to rubber in its abrasion and chemical resistance which is why it’s used in tyres for fork lift trucks, mud flaps etc. OEMs sometimes use it for suspension bump stops because of its abrasion resistance. It is also much more economic to manufacture because it's also available as a pourable resin, so mould tooling is much cheaper. Rubber moulding requires specialist injection mould tools and high temperature high pressure moulding machines.
For engine mounting applications natural rubber or natural/synthetic blended rubber is superior to urethane in every respect. Critical characteristic are:-
# Temperature range
# Resilience (stiffness/damping ratio)
# Creep and permanent set (permanent deformation)
# Elongation
# Bond strength
One of the many critical weaknesses of urethane as an engine mounting material is the change in characteristics across a temperature range, in particular its resilience. The engine bay is subject to extreme temperature ranges. Urethane is unstable under these conditions. This is why OEMS never use urethane for a primary engine mounting system.
We are the experts. Our policy is a no compromise, ultimate engine mount solution. If urethane was the best stuff to use, we would use it!"
I decided to take a chance and bought it. It cost $234.75 + $15 for shipping. It took them a week to ship it, but they shipped it using fedex international priority so it only took one day to receive the mount from the UK. Not bad for 15 bones.
Anyways, I'll post my thoughts of the mount in your thread once it's installed.
