Funny how Lego, Vivid and now Z here all have the late-model Sport Coupe 15-spokes.
Honestly, I like the "earlier" designed wheels better, but good luck finding a set that isn't curb rashed to fecal matter and in need of refinishing and powder coating. Unfortunately, those wheels are getting long in the tooth.
The "late model" wheels are still relatively light weight, made in Japan, rotary forged, and acomidate 245/40 and 275/35 19"s.
As a function over form kinda guy, it's a lot of win.
Ah, I get it. I know Lego's running a staggered set-up and his 275s fill up that rear wheel well nicely. With an offset of 30 you must be running the 9"s all the way around. I missed that.
(I've got 8.5"s square with 245/40s. Offset is 43.)

Yup, 19x9 +30 all around with 245/40s as well.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention I purchased the wheels from the convertible which has a more aggressive offset.
Yes and no. The neck pillows arrived today, and I'm not content enough with them to use all the time. I think they'll just sit in the trunk, for use on trips.
Yeah Sean they do. But since I have to go through reinstalling the cats and the demon bolt has been dealt with so it much easier to take off I think I'm go to go with the FI RHFCs and better durability. The Magnaflows cats have to be welded onto the pipes by whoever is installing them. Same as all the others but I think the quality of work is much better from the manufacturer IMO.....
The pillows are definitely more for comfort than looks. If I didn't spend 3 hours in my car every day, I wouldn't use them.
On another note. I finally forced myself to unbolt the underside of the front bumper so I could reach the passenger side fog light. Looks sooo much better now, with double the light output of the oem bulbs.
Need a better pic, but my Nismo oil filter cap finally arrived.... First they sent me a Toyota TRD cap instead of Nismo, then they sent me this silver cap instead of black that was ordered. Gave up and put on the silver cap lol. Still waiting for a black radiator cap cover too.

I understand nissan is the parent company of infiniti and nismo is the performance division for nissan specific vehicles like the Z, GTR, etc but as an Infiniti owner shouldn't you be putting IPL labeled parts on your car?
There was never such a thing as a Nismo G.
It's like putting a "Type-R" on a Acura TL
Or a "TRD" on a Lexus IS
Or a"S" on a Volkswagen Jetta
Volkswagen has R-Line.
Lexus has F/F-Sport.
Acura doesn't have anything currently but used to be Type-S (RSX / 07-08 TL)
I just don't understand and it seems very silly to put anything Nismo labeled on a Infiniti G37
And yes i know the 370z and G37 are pretty much similar cars that share the same drivetrain. But still...
The problem is a lack of IPL products available. Eventually Ill be swapping a lot of things out under the hood, and with them a lot of the cosmetic crap like this will change. I just wanted to get rid of the scratched up plastic cap, and cover up the radiator cap which had a some blemishes on it from the weatherproofing they slobber all over the hood here in Canada.
I've less negative things to say about the NISMO branding as I do there being no less than 4 different shades of blue going on here. I recommend he ditch the coolant cap cover. Or get one in satin black or gunmetal. Two things is one too many things labeled NISMO.
I have a VMP cap cover, too. But it doesn't say NISMO, and it doesn't clash. Other than that, it's a fine bit of engine bling.
Yup, that blue cap is going to be gone within the next two weeks. I have a black one coming And the other blues are all the same. For some reason the engine cover comes out a lot lighter in photos, but its a 90% colour match to the strut bar mounts and grounding cables. Could just be that its not a polished surface like the others and light reflects differently.
Hexotic, how hard is it to unscrew the oil cap? With it recessed like that and the grab point being on the edges, it seems like it would be hard to get your fingers in there. The stock one is even hard to get open, as it seems to seal pretty hard.
I've been looking at those caps on eBay / aliexpress and that was my main concern.
I use low profile plumbers pliers for the oem and this cap. I cant see this being vey easy to open with fingers lol, unless you have small but very strong hands.
Sometimes I can remove my oil cap with effort, and sometimes I have to remove the engine cover in order to get leverage. What sucks is to remove the engine cover you have to first remove the FSTB.
But I only change my oil once a year, so... first world problems.

Excellent. The grounding cables do look similar, which is a pretty amazing detail.
Jebus.... I went to take that picture, and the cap is still super hot. It has been 4 hours since the car was parked. The thing really retains a lot of heat. I think this ebay blunder will have to go away and wait till I buy a non bargain cap lol.
