Got the coilovers and camber arms off today. Everything went smooth as can be (hardest part was compressing the OEM spring). My damn car looks like a monster truck now. Terrible.

Glad that worked out for ya. I haven't done it ('fraidy cat), but I know spring compression can be a challenge.

The other day I was looking at pics of my G just after I took delivery and boy-oh-boy does it look funny all tall and narrow.

Ordered a set of Lamin-X fog light covers in yellow and my initial feedback is that I like the way they came out and the quality of the material. Will follow up once the covers dry up completely.

Hey 2GoRNot2G can you post a few pictures of your Gs rear end, I just wanted to have another look at what it looks like with the Accessevolution diffuser and quad tips, I'm getting a Carbon Signal CF diffuser with the side spats/rockers or whatever you wanna call it, and possibly might cutomize the diffuser later on to fit some subtle nice looking quad tips, thanks! :Hsugh:

Any of you use all weather mats? Did you go with infiniti or other brand? Looking for opinions and review.

I have the Infiniti ones and honestly would recommend going weather tech instead.

I have weather tech digi fit liners and highly recommend them. Have them in my 2011 G37 sedan and previously had them in my 08 TL.

Not at all car talk, in that he's not actually been in my car yet...

...however, cute as heck, so here's Charlie. We just adopted him a few days ago from a shelter organization that uses host families to find new owners. He's 10 months old, 16 pounds, and a Terrier/Poodle mix. He doesn't shed, and he's already housebroken.

And since my cats ignore me, he's my newest bestest buddy.

Cats are so independent compared to dogs. They always seem to have a attitude like "Meh, whatever" as they just sit around on the couch and look at you.

Dogs are so much more outgoing and affectionate.

Is Charlie getting along with his new friends at the house?

He's occasionally curious, but mostly ignores them like they're not even there. On the flip side, the cats have sequestered themselves in one of my kid's bedroom, and do whatever they can to avoid him. It's going to take some time.

My wife has been after me for years to get up and out of the house, now I'm walking Charlie around the neighborhood like 5 times a day. So that's happening, LOL.

So... who's getting their snow tires out? I just measured, and my snows are mostly at 7/32", give or take 1/32". That just over the recommendation of 5/32" minimum tread depth, and since I barely drive the car, I'm thinking I'll be OK. The wife's snow tires are all around 8 to 9/32", so I can get another winter out of hers, too.

Put my snows on 2 weeks ago, we've been having below freezing temps overnight and in the mornings the last while now, with some snow a few days. My tires are at 8/32nds, so after this season I'll likely throw them up for sale and upgrade to something newer. This will be their 3rd winter so I'm content with them.

I'm not doing the same mistake as last year, I'm waiting till at least mid December with the snowtires unless it gets drastically much colder, around freezing temperatures sooner and stays that way then I'll put them on sooner, but last year I put them on right before Thanksgiving or right after I can't remember and then kept thinking I should've waited.

November is when it always starts weighing on my mind, and I start second guessing tread depth. So this year I finally bought a tread depth gauge.

This will be my fourth winter with these now tires, but it's not as bad as that sounds because I put so few miles on the car, particularly in the winter. I'm thinking after this season, I'm going to replace them next year with Michelin X-Ice. Really never liked these "performance" Blizzaks.

Kind of sucks having staggered duckfeet as my snows. I'd much rather rotate.
