Liam - I can't believe it took you so long to chime in. You're usually very loquacious.

How's it going man?

Still love that mod.

Played tag for a few miles this afternoon with an Audi S5. Beautiful car, and while we were clearly having fun, neither of us did anything stupid. We parted at my off-ramp with a friendly smile and nod of respect.

That's the way it should be. Too often, I find myself expecting that nod, only to discover the other driver is deep in road rage. That's uncool.

I'm curious about the ashtrays. Why are some curved and some flat?

I've seen the curved trays on both the 6MT and the 7AT. But not the flat tray on the 6MT. Is one an actual ash tray and one not? An "S" thing?

Just curious. I prefer the look of the curved tray (i have the flat one). It just looks smoother....

DC drivers are very polarizing, either they are super passive or incredible *******s. However since they are usually fed employees or IT geeks, nothing ever escalates, I'm not really an intimidating guy, but I've gotten pretty good at the back-and-forth that's customary where I'm from (NY), and 99% of the time, these aggressive drivers turn into puppy dogs when you show them you're not one of them. It's a perk

Happy Meal Express

Jump right on boys and girls, this way to the McPlay area.

Finally got 'em done...took like 10 days after I received the parts.

I'm quite satisfied with how they turned out...but it is only day 2.

Very nice Sean, did you send them out or did you DIY the paint?

First Brad: Thanks a lot for your 'On the cheap' sticky in the brakes section and all your input.

No, I didn't DIY them. ONEighty NYC were kind enough to take care of them for me.

Fitment, wheels, rotors and calipers... I'd say you've arrived.

Very well done, sir. I bet it feels good.

Thank you very much. I'm very happy with how things turned out. To me, it all looks well integrated. I guess OEM has a lot to recommend it.

Now I just need to get another job so I can use these wheels as winters and get some sexy summer ones with some PSSs. I got RIFd (reduction in force) on Thursday. Oh well...first-world problem.

They got my calipers on a Thursday and the following Tuesday they were on my doorstep. I'm on the East Coast, though. Not sure if that makes a diff in return shipping....

My sympathies. On the bright side of gloomy, you still have a car purchased and modified based on enthusiasm instead of necessity. And now that you are probably entering a freeze on financially frivolous mods, your car is looking and running in a rather spectacular way...

amirite?

You are absolutely right!! Thank you very much. Things are great on this end. I love my G and I'm thinking ROAD TRIP after the holidays since I'll have the time.

Also have to decide if I want to do IT software dev for the rest of my career. Might be time to try something completely different. 20+ years of it can rub the luster off.

If you work in the energy field I feel your pain. I've had tons of coworkers laid off and oil companies everywhere are giving people the boot. Hopefully it turns around soon and I don't care if that means you guys have to pay more at the pump because of it. LOL.
