Me too, I completely relate. However, the whole "sleeper" concept is pretty appealing. Granted, my G has enough visual mods (and is bright white) that being a sleeper car isn't what motivates me to own my G, but I still smile at the idea of having a powerful sport sedan that everyone completely ignores.
If only it didn't look so much like a slightly larger Malibu.
In that theme... how about finding a low mileage 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP? 415hp of gas guzzling awesome.

GXP is great, I sort of know because my brother has its little weaker sibling the 6.0 G8 GT whereas GXP is 6.2 LS3 same as Camaro SS , however 6MT GXPs go for ridiculous amounts of money making it not worth getting one but rather opt out for the SS 6MT new or slightly used...

It's amazing how far we have come since.
Well, AFAIK or remember, the Chevy 305 was the ubiquitous light-duty small block for General Motors, whereas the 307 was uniquely Oldsmobile, and shared by Buick. Pontiac's small block was a 301ci engine... that was the one they turbo-charged in the T/A. None of these were very good, IMO.
The '80's Monte Carlo, the Pontiac Grand Prix, the Oldsmobile Cutlass and the Buick Regal. To the untrained eye, they were all the same car. And while they really weren't, they might as well have well been anyway.
Was checking air pressure in the tires as I was preparing for a early AM 4 hour road trip with the family and found a nice 1" self tapper in my front tire. Looks a trip to the tire shop before I leave. Oh well thats life correct?
Well tire was patched and road forced balanced. 340 miles later and me and my family are sitting in our hotel about to go and watch the 7PM fireworks at Hollywood Studios.
I could only assume Conti does not recommend patches so you have to buy another tire.
