So my rear Eibach sway bar is on and I have come to two conclusions.
1. I need stickier tires!
2. The front needs to come down a quarter of an inch to rake it better.
I'll do this once my new Tein spanner wrenches come in from Amazon since I cannot find where the old ones went .

Yeah, I went to the local Nissan dealer and played with a 6MT Nismo Z. The **** is dimensional the same, but slightly bigger, and with the shift pattern stamped in the leather.

Got some 1/2" plumbing fixtures at lowes...not enough threads to get the **** on.

Went to fastenal over lunch today. No extenders in the right size. I did get some "thick" washers, IDK the exact thickness, but one of them raised the **** enough that I'm no longer inadvertently turning on the seat heaters.

I'm getting closer to the desired height. Maybe 1/8".

And I really liked the slightly larger 370Z ****

So...a spacer (or two), 370Z ****, and vinyl wrap the shifter surrounded so I don't have redundant shift patterns. That's where I'm headed righr now

I was looking for a coupling/bolt extender, which they didn't have. Got a pack of thick washers though, which gets me really close to where I want.

Try emailing this place, which has a line of thread adapters, and see if they have an extender, too:

I suspect these things exist, Lego. Surprised Fastenal was no help.

Apparently TWM sells "shifter extenders", but they are way-y-y too long for your (our) needs.

Point being, with regard to research, the phrase "shifter extender" gets thrown into the mix.

Here's another M10 extender... but the thread pitch doesn't look like 1.25. Can't tell for sure.

Finally, I've emailed this company: http://grfxpstore.com/store/product/885037602, just now, asking them if they would make/sell an adapter with a 1" extension. Baring that, I've asked if the internal threads are deep enough into their 3.5" hardware that the objective could be satisfied with a hacksaw.

It keeps coming back to the hacksaw... LOL.

Thanks. I also asked Chris at Lathe Werks, maybe he could custom make me an extender.

I'm going to see if I can get 2 washers to work. In conjunction with the slightly larger 370Z **** it might be the sweet spot for me. Or, if I can get an extension it opens up Lathe Werks.

Picked up a 2012 G37x Sedan for my wife yesterday! Drove it 500 miles to get it home. 1 thing I noticed is that the seats in my Z06 is way more plush than these. Other then that, it was a nice ride!

ETA: It has nav, premium package, interior accents package, illuminated kick plates and the carpeted trunk, cargo net and first aid kit options.

That's surprising. I assumed seats in a Z06 would grip you like a cast-iron vise with a thin layer of leather. But you say they're plush? I've been in a number of vettes over the decades, and don't think I ever would have used that word. But I'm not familiar with the Z06.

IMO, the non-sport seats in the G are very comfortable and forgiving, while still very much a bucket seat. The sport seats, however, those are surprisingly stiff, but still more forgiving that the previous Gen sport seats.

A Z06, a gigantic truck, and a G37 as a DD... that's some eclectic collection of cars.

Corvette seats prior to the C7's are definitely lacking in the holding department. There is virtually no thigh bolster and no shoulder bolsters and all. The hip bolster is good but that's about it. The C6 seats are all the same up until 2012 when they got redesigend and actually has nice shoulder bolsters.

The G's seat while supportive, had much firmer and thinner butt pad foam. After sitting in the G for 500 miles, I jumped into my vette and my rest felt so much more comfortable due to the plushness.

I'll try to make a video compring the plushness of each seat later on today.
