He shoots, he scores. LOL

After talking to my mechanic, and PM'ing Todd here, I've been forewarned that the rear adjustment collars are a total PITA, unless you drop the lower bucket. And after measuring things today, I've decided I want my rears raised another 1/2". So... I'm actually going back to the shop tomorrow and have my mechanic do it. And then the alignment next Monday.

I'll do the rears but what sucks is the instructions give you measurements to lower it like 1.4 I think. I can't use that since I need it to sit at the same height as the OEM set up till the fronts go in. Going to have to do the adjustment a few times i'm afraid. I was looking at the front installs and decided that 75 bucks a side is well worth it. I can have him cut the front rotors to get rid of that shudder under braking also.

You guys are more than welcome to come down and help adjusting ride height. I'll BBQ !

I adjusted my fronts 4 times and and my rear 3 times. Would still like the rears to be a touch higher but just been too lazy to do it.

I've been meaning to ask this since I saw your post on acquiring the Teins, but I was under the impression that a CO setup would not allow you to get anywhere close to a Swift-only drop. I contacted some manufacturers when I was mulling going to Koni Yellows and the consensus was universally that any CO solution would be much lower than the Swift drop. Obviously that is not the case with Tein. I wonder how the Teins compare to Koni Yellows... In either case, I'll be looking for the awesome SRR aka the Standard Rochester Review.

I was as low as the swifts, and had plenty of room to go much lower.

At full height (less a few threads), it seems about 26 3/4" to 27" floor to fender... which was the original goal with all those stupid bushings.

I'll know more tomorrow.

Had I known that back then, I might have ended up with a Tein CO setup. If you could comment on where you think the Tein springs are in relation to the Swifts, that would be awesome.

I'm working through this one day at a time in my Progress thread, if you want to follow. They seem very much on par for comfort with the Swifts. But keep in mind, I only have the rears. And I've not done any ramping yet, just lots of low-speed driving over side roads.

Obviously about 0.2* of straight-up camber was reintroduced by raising the car a 1/2" today. Tomorrow I'm going to measure again and see if height needs to be tweaked one more time before Monday's alignment. And with the camber arms in place, I'm hoping to work with the shop and have them dial in the camber I want. Not sure how that's going to work out.

One day at a time, and so far so good.

Has anyone or does anyone know if a bumper will fit in the G? I was thinking if I recline the passenger seat and slip the bumper in behind the driver side?

Thanks lol

Depends on the bumper. I was able to fit a 2010+ sport bumper using the same method you described when I dropped it off at a body shop to get painted. You might want to wrap the edges of the bumper though as it might rub against the front passenger side dash and/or the rear driver side door panels.

Anyone had issues with their gas cap being loose when it isn't? After 50 miles showing the alert, my SES comes on for emissions. I've been meaning to bring it to Infinti.

G37 Sedan *Chat Thread*

So I've been working with some guys in Japan on some new engine bay (or other) bling. It's taken awhile but I'm happy to report that there are now 5 super rare purple TK Donatellos available.

You can expect to see something in my bay but I wasn't certain if anyone else may be interested.
