I would visually inspect the belt. Age and environment typically have more to do with the degradation than mileage. If the belt still looks to be in good shape, I would then begin to search for the point of squeal. It could be the tensioner on its way out, debris adhered to a pulley,a bearing, etc. Or just cross your fingers and throw a new belt on and hope for insta-solution.
Those little, short, annoy-me-to-death noises are the worst time sucking maintenance that exists.

Glad you made it that far and didn't break down on the way. I had a front bearing go bad on my old Datsun 240, took out my breaks going over the Walt Whitman bridge and my tire getting onto.... I want to say 42 but I could be wrong.

Please have a Taylor Ham and egg for me! From Slater's would be best but beggars can't be choosers.

Lol was still wary of upgrading to windows 10, holding off to see what people have to say about the upgrade.

I now have one laptop running Windows 8.1, one laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium, one tower running Windows 7 Ultimate, and one tower running Windows 10. We also have an iMac running OsX whatever. Not to mention the countless tablets, e-Readers, phones and one old Wii.
I miss DOS. Things were so much more simple.

Not that I haven't deserved one. Just somewhat more circumspect as I get old.
G'luck at Traffic Court.

Nice pic of a scuba diver on the background, so I guess it's a huge upgrade

Correct me if I'm wrong (I picked up a Macbook ~3 years ago and haven't done much on Windows since then), but wasn't 8.1 the OS that seemed to have been optimized for touchscreens? The one with all the tiles like Windows phones and it was always slightly confusing trying to actually get to the start menu?
