Around the G37, what is your name, be a lot easier than typing your long nic all the time, lol.
Do you have a pic of the problem area, those plastic backing plates should work if your old one just got stripped out or broken. Your G doesn't seem that low to be a constant problem area.

Hey Todd (finally, lol)
Looking at my front fender it looks like mine are in the same shape, just lucky that the fender liner is still tucked in as it should be.
Looks like it might be part #10 in this link but alas, they're not for sale on this site
https://discountinfinitiparts.com/pa...iagram=3846085
I'll keep looking around as it seems I'm needing them too~DOH!
EDIT~Looks like they have them here, part 7 & 8 and only 18cents each

I'm going to have to give it a better look and see what really is the point of them. All my clips on all the fenders don't have anything above that hole in the clip, so unless they all broke off (which seems highly unlikely) they're probably in there just barely doing their job.

It's all just kind of a strange series of events. But at the end of the day, you're happy, I'm happy, we're all happy. Group hug.
6MT this time, right?

G37 Sedan *Chat Thread*
I've got a couple of ideas I'm throwing around that would make it a one of a kind mod that I don't think any one has done yet. It'll be a few years down the road before I could afford to do it plus lots of planning. It'll be a tall order but I'm thinking about a G38S TT if you catch my drift.

^^ LOL John! Mike, gorgeous pics of your car on tame the dragon!
Todd, I can understand your dilemma...that new Mustang has even made me give it a second glance. It looks really nice. I haven't been a fan of the Stang designs for well, probably over a decade because I feel like everyone (Camaro, Challenger, Charger, Mustang, etc.) went with "retro" designs. To me it just smacked of it'd be easier to massage a retro design for a few years than come up with something new and original. I'm definitely not a fan of that sequential three bar turn signal that they were doing (not sure if it's on the new Stang though). I'm failing to find the right word for it, but "typical" comes to mind, maybe a bit cheesy. Those round halogen headlamps that some of them were sporting were just plain BAD. Every time I saw them I'd think 1968 called and wants it's round halogen reflector headlights back.
I think those designs had their time in the 60's and 70's but the modern executions of those designs went too far back in time for me. The C7 Vette is the only one I think that was executed beautifully with regard to design with subtle nods to the Stingray heritage. It's unmistakably a Corvette with no obvious design shortcuts, but instead is just evolving wonderfully over time. The Mustang is beginning to turn that corner, which I think is a very good thing.

Matt, not sure exactly what it is but the C7 just doesn't come together very well IMO. From a performance point I can't deny they've got it dialed in about as well as any car in the world. That view from the back still seems strange to me, guess I just got too comfortable w/ the C6 and ditching the round tails was a mistake, again IMO. Time will tell if the C7 starts to grow on me, I'm sure I'd have a different take if I was handed the key to a new C7 Z06
Ford nailed the new Mustang IMO, pretty impressive from all angles.

I actually liked the older mustang body better than the new one (more muscular looking, hence the reason I bought one, 2013-14 refresh mainly) but I do like how wide the new mustang is from the rear and the front definitely looks more with the times. The 3/4 angle though leaves a lot to be desired as it just doesn't seem to flow naturally. Needless to say I think I'm going to hold on to the G for a bit longer (unless a smoking deal comes along). I have about 5-6k left on my PSS (next track day will probably shorten that time span, LOL) so when it comes time to buy new tires I may just jump ship. We'll see.

Recall, the reason I installed these bushings was because my rear end was at least a 1/2" or more droopy than the front. And yet, at only 5/8" thickness, now my rear end is on average 0.6" *higher* than the front.

I have a buddy doing a 4.2 TT swap now... I may buy his old block and start going that direction too.. But I hope not. I need some vacation time
