You can tell Tony is excited the way he double-posts his build.

Not that I blame him. I would too.

True story!

I just figure not everyone is looking at my build thread so I share the completed things in two places now. It also pads my post count!

Today was over 40*F for the first time in nearly three months. That means it's also the first time in nearly three months that I drove the car without wearing gloves. And I know that sounds particularly lame, except that I've got that solid Ti shift ****, which is positively brutal in zero-degree temps. But when the temps are reasonable, it's awesome.

Mock-worthy story, perfectly set up for some condom jokes.

LOL

Already on the list, my mod for November 2015 is a winter-only shift **** made out of Copolymer.

Not black, though. Probably just silver. And without that dimple... that looks dumb.

^details? Looks like sport bumper + CS lip??

Curious on what folks would do in this situation:

Preparing to put sport coupe wheels on my car, they came with lightly used 245/45/19 bridgestone "Turanza" tires, which are A/S touring tires (OEM for Lexus LS, 7 series, etc.)

Figured I'd get some use out of them, but starting to think this will compromise both looks and driving feel. I don't drive very aggressive, but can take ramps pretty hard, or the occasional cruise into the country once the weather gets nice.

Anyone know what 245/45 all around will look like? Anyone care to share experience w touring-style tires? Worth it to get a few seasons out of them??

If I don't use them, I'd try to pick a solid HP or UHP A/S tire in staggered sizes (not able to keep a set of winter wheels at the moment) for <$1K

TIA

^^ I think what I like best about this...is that she's wearing my wheels. And you don't see that often. Haha.

Tony, was it you that was interested in a true type coil over?

You may need to change your handle to GTRSlayer, that build is looking good!
