I've read that comparison before, and wished they went one step further. While they tested each tire on wet, dry, and snow conditions, they didn't actually test dry + cold at all. This is what I expect to encounter 3 months out of each year in the Charlotte area. Or even wet + cold (but not frozen).
I'd be interested to see how all season does on cold/dry and cold/wet...vs summer and winter tires.

I dont think you're going to find that comparison.
I can say anecdotally that summer tires are more than adequate in cold/wet conditions. But I also justify my decision in that those conditions are generally only present in the AM.

I had considered only running summers but picked up all seasons anyway. With the ice and weather we've had here in Memphis I suppose it was a good choice.
Thank you sir! I'm happy with it. Some other issues with the car to get fixed now. Pulled a bone headed move yesterday and took some damage on the shark fin.
